Design Brief
Having undertaken some reflection, I’ve started to consider high level requirements which might form the basis of a Game Design Brief.
I’ve selected the following features to fit into my game:
- May be played by two or more players.
- Offer a variety of thematic deck archetypes from which players may choose to play with.
- Provide a consistent theme throughout the game, mechanically, aesthetically and dynamically, adhering where possible to unified principles of design.
- Include scope for further iteration and development of deck archetypes, which will;
- Enable production of new card sets
- Leave open the possibility of further narrative design
- Gameplay will include two distinct gameplay areas, which players must successfully manage and dominate simultaneously in order to survive and win.
