1st Draft Game Design Document
I've undertaken a first draft of my game design document, which can be viewed Here. Whilst it is incomplete, it does have the majority of core mechanics present and offers a narrative and ludic framework for playing through the game, including a rudimentary rule set.
One core mechanic is however, missing - resolving Arena combat, particularly the interaction between playing cards and how they resolve against cards already in play. My next task is to undertake some research, examine how other games in the Collectible Card Game market answer this problem and refine a hopefully new take on this core mechanic for my game, in line with the established design brief.
